Motor or ESC failure is often caused by heat, electronic are more efficient and reliable at lower temperatures.

Tweak with data not guesswork

Checking the motor’s temperature is the most effective way to keep it from burning out. You could do the risky touch test by placing your finger on the motor. If you can leave it on the motor for three seconds, you’re within the safe temperature zone, but we don’t recommend that.

The usual way to check your temp is to get a temp gun, however, such a thermometer can only give you an instant reading at a time and it can never measure and save the continous ever-changing thermograph during the real RC runtime.

To make an educated decision on tweaking, SkyRc introduces Thermologger Duo to record and generate a visual thermograph.

Through the RC Gears app, you can easily read data, check thermograph and troubleshoot problems.

Using this free app, you can capture mechanical, electrical and thermal measurements from this wireless-enable thermologger. Measurements can be saved and share with other RC player via text or email showing them exectly what you’r tweaking

Tiny but Long battery life

TLD001 is compact in size, but it boasts a long battery life. It is powered by CR2450 coin cell battery, wich is included with the device and lasts dor approximately 96 hours continous work* under normal operation. When the battery runs out, it can be easily replaced by prying the covers.
